1- Gender: 96.4% of victims are female, 2.8% of victims are male, and .9% are transgender.
2- Ethnicity: 40.5% of victims are Caucasian, 27.1% are African American, 5.3% are Hispanic/Latino, 4% have a mixed ethnicity, 3.2% are Asian, 2.1% are Native American, .2% are Haitian, .2% are Middle Eastern, .2% are Pacific Islander, and 17.1% are undetermined. (Note: Population of Portland's ethnicity skews this.)
3- Life Circumstances: 16.6% of victims have parents, 8.6% are adoptive, 6.4% are developmentally delayed, and 62.1% are dealing with addictive issues. (Note: Developmetally delayed situations are underreported.)
4- Exploitation: 49.1% of victims are gang affiliated, 11.1% of victims are exploited by family members, and 19.9% have a family history of family exploitation.
5- Age of entry: 19.6% are 16, 19.4% are 17, 19% are 15, 13.7% are 14, 8.5% are 13, 2.6% are 18, 2.4% are 12, 1.7% are 22+, 1.1% are 19, .9% are 20, .6% are 3, .2% are 8, 9 and 21, 10% are undefined.
According to Equality Now:
6- Worldwide, there are more than 20.9 million adults and children are victims of human trafficking
7- Worldwide, there are approximately 2 million kids are put into sex servitude.
8- 6 in 10 people that were trafficked were sex trafficked.
According to Thorn:
9- A sex trafficker uses about 4-6 girls and can make $150,000-$200,000 per child
10- In Thorn's survey, 63% of people that have been sec trafficked had, at one point been sold on the internet.
Ways of Prevention:

4. Protest with community and organization
5. Take action to change laws
Self Protection:
1. Take self defense classes and/or join a Martial art (You should join my school Traditional Tae Kwon Do!!!)
2. Educate yourself on warning signs of traffickers
3. Take BUDDIES!!! SQWAD UP!!
4. Tell other people who you are dating and were you go before you leave
5. Be cautious before entering relationships
